Howlite Beads

Howlite is named after its discoverer Henry How (Nova Scotia) and has a dull glimmering white color, often with a spider web pattern of fine black lines. Although howlite is always white or gray, it can be easily dyed to a turquoise blue and sold as an imitation of turquoise. Our Howlite is white with fine black lines.
