Our Apatite is a transparent gem in ranges of Blue, Green, Greenish Yellow, Brown, and colorless hues. Apatite received its name from the Greek `Apatao` which means to deceive because it mocks many other gemstones in color. Apatite's main element is Fluorapatite which is also the main element found in teeth and bones. Apatite is mined in Brazil, Mexico, Myanmar (Burma), Canada, Czech Republic, India, Madagascar, Mozambique, Norway, S. Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka (Ceylon), and the US.
